I work from the conviction that the experience of beauty leads to concentrated attention and ultimately to a caring relationship with the world. I use my skills in such a way that there is an apparent perfection that pulls the viewer into my work. Once there the content can be unraveled, in a world of intuitively chosen images and ideas that I compose entirely according to my own insight. I combine familiar and seemingly logical objects into a whole that at first seems familiar, but on closer inspection evokes wonder and even confusion.
