Made at the invitation of Kunstsmullen 2026. My work often comes about unconsciously. That's how these giant figures grew under my hands, and I felt an unexpected calm. I noticed that I wanted to stand among them. They towered above me, but radiated no threat — rather a sense of shelter, as if they were protecting me instead of the other way around. They rise up mysteriously in the forests of Heeze, on view from October 3 through October 26.
